Andrew Westcott

Andrew Westcott is the 18-year old guitar player and leader of The Westcott Brothers Band. Born in Royal Oak, Michigan, Andrew inherited his love of the Fender Stratocaster guitar from his late Grandfather Jimmy Moore, who played music in the Washington, DC area during the 70's and 80's. Andrew's first playing experience came about when he was only 13 years old and the Westcott family lived in Western North Carolina. Andrew joined up with local musicians to form the band Redhanded, with a focus on blues, rock and originals. Redhanded recorded a demo CD and played locally, including an appearance at the Town Pump in Black Mountain, NC. Andrew is currently focused on 'fronting' The WBB and has been concentrating on new/original material to be recorded on the band's upcoming new CD.
